This publication shows a ‘complete inventory of estate’ as presented on the Flemish auction site Vlavem. In preparation for the sale, the auctioneer provided each item with a handwritten number. He then photographed the properties, room by room, and gave each lot a description. All the images and associated descriptions have been appropriated and bundled together in this publication. The publication is a voyeuristic document that serves as a time capsule and an anonymous testimony to the life lived.
